Some details you should know about car rental in Cuba

1. You can rent and drop your car at any of the rental offices throughout the country. You should only know in which company you have booked the car. It is important to get noticed if apply any charges for returns in a different office.

The minimum age allowed varies between different renting agencies and categories, as explained below: All agencies and categories: 21 years old and 2 years experience. Exceptions: Rent a Car VIA Economic Category (18 years old and 1 year of experience) and REX car rental company Audi A3 Cabriolet (30 years old and 2 years experience.

6. When the car rental is made in an International Airport, all the car rental agencies apply a tax of 20 CUC.
